MinuteView Product Roadmap
Indicative updates planned for an upcoming release
MinuteView continues to evolve into a next-generation intelligence, search, and automation platform. The following roadmap highlights key improvements currently in development across our core modules. These updates reflect ongoing work and may change as we refine and extend the platform.
Mesh — Next-Generation Intelligent Search
Mesh is undergoing the most significant enhancement since its initial release. Our focus is on delivering deeper intelligence, richer insights, and tighter integration with downstream workflows.
Agentic RAG Search Engine
NewWe are updating our search engine to a fully agentic RAG-based intelligence model. This combines the context awareness of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) with the reasoning capabilities of agent-based orchestration.
This evolution enables Mesh to:
- Perform deeper content-aware search
- Understand relationships and context across documents
- Provide more accurate, more helpful AI-driven responses
- Analyse and interrogate large document sets intelligently, not just retrieve them
This transforms Mesh from a search bar into a guided intelligence assistant across all repositories.
Mesh to Capture Integration
NewA major new workflow upgrade is the ability to select multiple documents directly from Mesh and add them into a Capture.
This evolution enables Mesh to:
- Building document groups for transmittals
- Supporting change request processes
- Creating collections of documents for review cycles
- Associating groups of documents with forms, markups, or workflow tasks
- Enforcing metadata and mandatory fields before capture initiation
This provides end-users with a simple, powerful way to begin structured reviews or workflows directly from the search interface.
Capture — Complete Redesign and Powerful New Workflow Engine
Capture is moving from a basic markup-and-submit tool into a fully-fledged review, approval, and workflow orchestration module.
Modern Markup Tools
We have built our own markup engine from the ground up.
- Cleaner, smoother markup creation
- Faster navigation across multi-sheet drawings
- Improved performance and rendering
- A uniform experience for both legacy and modern documents
This also paves the way for advanced markup capabilities in the future.
Save Progress and Resume Anytime
Capture now supports saving:
- Form data
- Markup progress
- Multiple document review states
Users can start a Capture, save their work mid-way, and return later without losing context.
Multi-Document Capture Reviews
The new Capture workflow allows:
- Multiple documents to be associated with a single review
- Enforcing that each document is checked before submission
- Running downstream automation when the Capture is submitted
This creates a structured, auditable review pipeline ideal for engineering, quality, compliance, and design review processes.
Automation Engine Integration
Captures can now trigger workflows through the MinuteView Automation Engine, not just PowerShell. This means Captures can:
- Synchronise data to external systems
- Trigger notifications and escalations
- Generate PDFs, DXFs, STEPs, or other outputs
- Perform conditional logic based on form answers
It represents a major step forward in closing the loop between review, approval, and system automation.
Platform-Wide UI/UX Enhancements
Across the platform, a large focus has been placed on making MinuteView easier to use, faster to navigate, and more consistent.
Updated Table Views
Several areas now use the upgraded table system, including:
Benefits include:
- Real-time backend search (not just client-side filtering)
- Column-level filtering
- Better performance on large datasets
- Cleaner layouts and improved readability
Homepage Redesign
The main landing page for MinuteView has been redesigned to present a clearer overview of the platform and its modules, improving first-time user experience and highlighting the value proposition more effectively.
Backend, Licensing & Stability Improvements
Many improvements have been made behind the scenes to support reliability, enterprise deployment, and operational resilience.
Grace Period for Licensing
We've introduced flexible grace periods for scenarios such as:
- Hardware or MAC address changes
- Expired or inaccessible licensing
- Temporary disruptions in connectivity
This prevents unnecessary service interruptions while maintaining strong licensing controls.
Hundreds of Fixes and Optimisations
Ongoing enhancement work includes:
- Stability fixes across all modules
- Optimisations to the Vault service and Mesh indexer
- Improved configuration consistency across environments
- Logging cleanup and performance improvements
- Refinements to API endpoints and internal services
These refinements continue to make MinuteView a more robust and scalable platform for day-to-day operations.
Summary
This indicative roadmap outlines a major set of upcoming enhancements, with a strong emphasis on:
These updates continue our commitment to building MinuteView into the most capable information intelligence and automation platform for engineering and operations teams.
