MinuteView Product Roadmap
Indicative direction for an upcoming release
The following roadmap represents the direction we are currently working toward. Nothing outlined here is guaranteed to ship in the final release - features may evolve, shift in scope, or be reprioritised as development progresses. This is a snapshot of our current thinking and the areas where we are investing effort.
Capture - Enhanced Markup and PDF Integration
Capture's markup environment is receiving significant investment to provide a richer, more transparent review experience - and to carry that traceability all the way through to published documents.
Rich Markup Experience
EnhancedWe are investing heavily in the Capture markup environment to give users a more powerful, collaborative review experience.
- Full markup browser showing all current markups at a glance
- User attribution on every markup - see exactly who marked up what
- Search within markups and captures to quickly locate specific text or annotations
- Jump directly to content within drawings, making it faster to find and update specific elements
These improvements give reviewers complete visibility over the markup process, making multi-person reviews faster and more transparent.
PDF Comment Integration
NewOnce a Capture is completed, markups will be embedded directly into the published PDF as attributed comments in the PDF comment panel.
- Markups inserted as native PDF comments with full user attribution
- Traceability maintained not only within MinuteView but also in the published document
- Recipients can view review comments without needing access to MinuteView
- Complete audit trail from review through to final published output
This closes the loop between internal review and external distribution - every comment is traceable from capture to publication.
Workflow Engine - Parallelism and Designer Improvements
The automation engine is being expanded with broader parallelism support and a more intuitive workflow designer experience.
Parallelised AutoCAD Processing
AutoCAD tasks within the automation engine are moving from serialised execution to full parallel processing, just like all other task types.
- AutoCAD drawing tasks processed in parallel rather than one at a time
- New method of reading and publishing drawing files for greater flexibility
- Consistent parallelism model across all task types in the workflow engine
This is a major architectural update that significantly improves throughput for AutoCAD-heavy workflows.
Workflow Designer Enhancements
The visual workflow designer is receiving usability and reporting improvements to make building and understanding workflows easier.
- Improved edge routing so users can more easily configure the direction and flow of connections
- Better animations at decision points, making it clear where branching logic has been applied
- Enhanced reporting and traceability - trace through exactly what happened in any workflow execution
These refinements make it easier to build, debug, and audit complex automation workflows.
Security, Authentication, and Platform Resilience
Security is always at the forefront of our development. This release continues our commitment to keeping customer data safe and expanding how users can securely access the platform.
Expanded Login Methods
NewMinuteView is expanding its authentication options to support enterprise identity providers, making it easier for organisations to integrate MinuteView into their existing IT environments.
- Microsoft Active Directory (on-premises AD) integration for organisations managing identities locally
- Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) support for cloud-based identity and single sign-on
- Seamless login experience aligned with existing corporate credentials and policies
This means users can authenticate with the same credentials they already use across their organisation - reducing friction and improving security posture.
Continued Security Hardening
OngoingSecurity remains at the forefront of everything we build. This release includes further backend hardening to strengthen data isolation, access controls, and platform resilience.
- Additional data isolation checks across all service boundaries
- Strengthened access control enforcement at every layer of the platform
- Ongoing review and improvement of authentication and authorisation mechanisms
- Continued investment in security testing and vulnerability assessment
We are committed to ensuring MinuteView meets the highest standards of data security and operational integrity for our customers.
