MinuteView 3.0 · Roadmap

Agentic AI, End to End

The next step in MinuteView's AI journey

MinuteView already puts AI to work across the platform - extracting content from documents, generating images, running semantic search, and calling on large language models. Today these are powerful AI-driven tools. Version 3.0 takes the next step: an agentic AI layered over the top that can call on any of those tools - and any automation task - to achieve whatever you ask of it. This is an early, deliberately open look at where we are heading, not a fixed commitment.

From AI Tools to Agentic AI

MinuteView is already full of AI - content extraction, image generation, semantic search, LLM interaction. 3.0 layers an agentic AI over the top that can call on any of those tools, and any automation task, to achieve your goal.

A Fully-Described Automation Library

Foundation

The groundwork for 3.0 is precise: over the coming months we are clearly defining every automation task in the platform - exactly what goes into a task, and exactly what comes out. This structured library of instructions is what makes everything else possible.

  • Clear, well-defined inputs and outputs for every automation task
  • A consistent contract the AI can rely on to call any task
  • The whole automation catalogue described in a way an agent can reason about
  • The foundation for turning every automation into an AI-callable tool

Once every task is clearly described, the AI can treat the entire automation catalogue as a toolbox.

Agentic AI Orchestration

New

Today, MinuteView's AI capabilities - extraction, image generation, semantic search, LLM interaction - are individual tools you reach for. 3.0 introduces an agentic AI that can reach for them on your behalf, calling any tool or automation task needed to reach a goal you describe in plain language.

  • Draws on every existing AI capability - extraction, image generation, semantic search - as callable tools
  • The AI selects and chains the right tools and tasks to reach the goal
  • Build automation directly from a prompt - no manual workflow design required
  • The automation executes exactly what was asked for

The AI you already use becomes a set of tools a smarter agent can call on its own.

What Agentic AI Unlocks

With every automation task available as a tool, the AI can build on demand, reach across your business, and keep people in control.

New

On-the-Fly Workflows

A new temporary, on-the-fly workflow model. Ask something of the interface - do this, with this, with this - and the AI accesses each automation task as a tool to achieve it, with no pre-built workflow required.

  • Spin up a workflow on demand from a single request
  • No need to pre-design a workflow for one-off tasks
  • The AI composes the steps needed in the moment

One-off automation becomes as simple as describing what you need.

New

Action Across the Entire Business

Because Mesh already connects to all your data sources, and Automations already holds the tools to act on them, the AI can take action on practically any piece of data across the business.

  • Mesh provides reach into every connected data source
  • Automations provides the tools to act on that data
  • The AI combines both to act on practically any data, anywhere

Reach across every data source, with the tools to act on what it finds.

Enhanced

Expanded Human-in-the-Loop

The AI injects human review exactly where it is needed. Building on the human-in-the-loop functionality now part of Capture, 3.0 expands where and how people stay in control of automated processes.

  • AI-inserted approval and review checkpoints
  • Expanded human-in-the-loop, built on the Capture review environment
  • People stay in control of consequential actions

Automation moves fast, but people stay firmly in control of what matters.

MinuteView Mobile

A new mobile app brings agentic automation - and Capture reviews - wherever you are.

New

Describe, Build, and Run on Mobile

A new MinuteView mobile app puts agentic automation in your pocket. Describe the automation you want, and the AI builds and executes it then and there.

  • Create automation from a plain-language description
  • The AI builds and runs it on the spot
  • The full reach of Mesh and Automations, from your phone
New

Capture Markup and Review on the Go

The mobile app also brings Capture into the field, with markup and review functionality for Capture reviews wherever you are.

  • Mark up documents directly from the mobile app
  • Complete Capture reviews away from your desk
  • Keep review cycles moving without waiting to get back to a workstation

Platform and Access

Alongside the AI focus, 3.0 continues to expand secure access and platform hardening.

Entra ID Login

Planned

Extending the enterprise login options introduced in 2.1, 3.0 plans to add Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for cloud-based identity and single sign-on.

  • Cloud-based identity and single sign-on via Microsoft Entra ID
  • A seamless login experience aligned with existing corporate credentials
  • Complements the Active Directory login delivered in 2.1

More ways for organisations to authenticate with the identity they already use.

Continued Security Hardening

Ongoing

Security remains at the forefront of everything we build, and hardening continues alongside every release.

  • Ongoing data isolation and access-control improvements
  • Continued investment in security testing and vulnerability assessment
  • Particular focus on safe, controlled autonomy as AI capabilities expand

As the platform grows more autonomous, keeping it safe and controlled stays paramount.

Where We're Heading

MinuteView 3.0 is an early, deliberately open look at an agentic AI platform:

1A fully-described library of automation tasks the AI can call as tools
2Agentic AI that builds and runs automation from a plain-language prompt
3On-the-fly, temporary workflows created on demand
4Action on practically any data across the business, via Mesh and Automations
5Expanded human-in-the-loop control, built on Capture
6A mobile app to describe, build, run, and review on the go

This roadmap is indicative and exploratory. It represents the current direction of our thinking for MinuteView 3.0 and is not a commitment to deliver specific features by a specific date. Scope, timing, and priorities may change as development progresses.
